Instructions

1. Measure the Old Mirror Use a tape measure to measure the width and height of the old mirror. 2. Purchase a New Mirror When purchasing a new mirror, be sure to choose one that is the same size or slightly larger than the old mirror. 3. Remove the Old Mirror Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that are holding the old mirror in place. 4. Clean the Area Use a damp cloth to clean the area where the old mirror was located. 5. Apply Wood Filler If there are any holes or gaps in the wall, apply wood filler to fill them. Let the wood filler dry according to the manufacturer's instructions. 6. Sand the Area Once the wood filler is dry, sand the area smooth. 7. Paint the Area (Optional) If you want to change the color of the area where the old mirror was located, you can paint it. 8. Install the New Mirror Position the new mirror in the desired location and mark the spot where the screws will go. Use a drill to create pilot holes at each mark. 9. Secure the New Mirror Place the new mirror over the pilot holes and insert the screws. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screws until the mirror is secure.

Tips

* If you are replacing a mirror that is mounted on a medicine cabinet, you will need to remove the medicine cabinet from the wall before you can replace the mirror. * If the old mirror is glued to the wall, you will need to use a putty knife to pry it off. * Be careful when removing the old mirror.
